Feroball® FBX

Design - Material – Application

The Feroball® FBX is a self-lubricating spherical plain bearing developed specifically for slow-moving or oscillating applications. As with all other bearings of the Feroball® series, the FBX-bearing is ideally suited to damp or wet environments. The bearing has a very low stick-slip limit in the transition from standstill to motion.

The outer ring of the Feroball® FBX-bearing is manufactured from composite material Feroform PR18 and the steel ball from stainless steel 316L (1.4404). This combination of applied materials guarantees superior corrosion resistance. Although Feroball® bearings have been developed specifically for their low stick-slip values, Feroball® FBX-bearings have higher frictional values than the standard FBT-series.

Custom-made

Feroball® bearings continue to be developed by Kühne Industrie B.V. For use in both existing and new applications, to take up thermal expansion and other combined radial and longitudinal movements.

Solutions to meet customer requirements – this is our goal at Kühne Industrie B.V.!
